Three legendary British Rock acts will tour together for the first time as Peter Asher joins with the dynamic 80s era hitmakers the Fixx and the iconic voice of the Zombies, Colin Blunstone, for a slate of September 2026 concert dates.
The Fixx burst forth with their 1982 debut album Shuttered Room and Album Rock radio immediately took to them, ultimately embracing no less than 14 hits by the Fixx in a 10 year period, all placing in the Top 40 of US Album Rock tracks on Billboard’s chart. Among them are “Stand Or Fall”, “Saved By Zero”, “One Thing Leads To Another”, “The Sign of Fire”, “Are We Ourselves”, “Secret Separation”, and “How Much is Enough”, all of which also reached the Top 40 on the Billboard Hot 100. “
Colin Blunstone has been the voice of the Zombies throughout their unparalleled history, including their best-known songs-“She’s Not There’, “Tell Her No” and “Time of the Season”; all three reached the Top 10 on the Billboard Hot 100 and all were penned by the group’s in-house songwriting genius Rod Argent. The Zombies’ 1968 classic Odessey and Oracle has only grown in stature over the years, and Blunstone’s cover of Denny Laine’s “Say You Don’t Mind” was a solo hit for him in the UK.
We first came to know Peter Asher as one half of Peter & Gordon when the Paul McCartney penned “World Without Love” became a global smash in 1964. “Woman” “I Don’t Want To See You Again” and “Nobody I Know”-3 more Paul McCartney jems-were joined by “I Go To Pieces”, “True Love Ways”, “Lady Godiva” and more in the US Top 40 before Peter found a new path as A & R head at the Beatles Apple Records. That began a six decade career as a producer of the likes of Linda Ronstadt, James Taylor, Diana Ross, Cher, Robin Williams and Barbra Streisand that continues to this day.
